Save Your Own Time

My name is Yo Han Kim. I want to give you a warning to this following website: www.my-piano.ning.com. I signed up to this website because of the design and graphics. I think it is an important thing to save own time because we can't buy or return our time.

The design and layout needed to be improved to be seen well because it had unordered tabs, links, designs, etc. It's designed with computer graphic, but the colors made me confusing and pained my eyes. I think the letter designs were good, but like yellow color, I couldn't read it.

On the main page, there were too much unnecessary stuffs and details were written with none of helpful information. Only the links for the music section worked well and some people used it. It also had a chat and everyone could participate on it. I think it's a good idea to put on.

The content and details of information were terrible because it looks like just a community of every people. There was almost nothing about the piano or piano lessons. On photo sections, there were just pictures of members, and on forum, there were some discussions, but not a lot of people took a look on it. I think the video section would be the most helpful section to look how the other people play piano. Also, there was a group section, but it had only one group and had only one member (which is the owner).

The letters and words were in user-friendly and easy to read, but the letters that were in light color, I couldn't understand.

So when I visited this blog or website, I felt that I was just wasting my time on such a bad website. It had many members, but bad information and no useful tabs. I warn you not to waste your time on such not helpful website. Please, save your time and use it on good things.

My response to "The Maestro making Music for Peace"

This article is about Daniel Barenboim who is a famous pianist and conductor. I was searching online for famous pianist. When I found this article title: "The Maestro making Music for Peace." The orchestra Barenboim conducts is the West Eastern Divan and they are all youths. My friends said that Barenboim is a genius because he was only eight years old when he played piano in public concert. Other people said that it was criminal to let such a young boy play in public. My friends think that Barenboim is really talented on the piano because he play so great in a public concert. But I think that it's not just talent. I think he is like a second generation Mozart. I have few questions: When he played piano in public concert, who allowed him to play? And was it the first time he played piano? Who was his teacher? This article helped me to learn that if I try very hard, I can succeed of whatever I want to. I believe that I am always supposed to have hope in my life. I want to be like Barenboim and keep playing piano.

Hello everyone! Welcome to The WoRLd oF PiaNisTs! >.< My name is Yo Han Kim, also known as John. I made this blog for the people who want to learn about piano and love playing the piano. I think playing piano is a great thing to do because you can participate piano contests and also it is fun! You can play for your boyfriend or girlfriend. :) BUT!! You have to remember this: If you start piano, it's not going to take like one month or one year to play well. You have to practice at least more than three years becuase you need the basics and skills. This is my 11th year practicing piano, but I'm still not good. I want you guys to enjoy this blog and advice is welcome. If you want to ask something, please write a comment!
